On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, UB hosted a Signing Ceremony of Framework and Specific Agreements with three private institutions including St. Joan Higher Institute (SAJOHIM), Yaoundé. The ceremony took place in the Boardroom of the Central Administrative Building. The event marked a significant milestone in UB’s efforts to foster collaboration and promote academic excellence. “Thank you for the trust you have in UB by choosing it to be your mentor institution” said Professor Ngomo Horace Manga, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea. The Vice-Chancellor equally emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting academic excellence and urged the mentee institutions to adhere to the exigencies of quality assurance put in place by the Ministry of Higher Education. The representatives of the mentee institutions expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership and its potential to benefit both students and staff.
